Grace Baptist Fort Scott
It does make a difference what you believe!

I would like to thank you for taking the time to seek information about Grace Baptist.  We are an Independent Baptist Church that preaches and teaches the Word of God.  We use the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible.  We are interested in souls coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  We are also interested in the growth of Christians in their daily walk with the Lord.  Our church was organized in 1945 and remains a lighthouse to the surrounding community as well as around the world.  We love missions and missionaries.  We support over one hundred missionaries and missions projects on a regular basis.  We have missionaries that we support through the World Baptist Fellowship (WBF), the Baptist Bible Fellowship International (BBFI), and several independent missionaries.  We frequently have missionaries visit our services and share their burden for the souls of the world.  Every March we have a faith promise missions conference in which we have missionary families and a main speaker with us for a Wed. through Sunday conference.  We have a vibrant music program and a full-time youth pastor and youth program, meeting on Sunday mornings and also on Wed. nights.  We also have a children's ministry on Wed. evening called King's Kids for children ages 2 years old to 5th grade.  We still believe that family is very important to the Lord and worshipping together in God's house is still essential.  We also have special services throughout the year, such as special music, youth services, testimony services, and more.  We offer youth camps for Jr. age as well as high school and college age every summer.  We would like to invite you to visit us some Sunday morning, Sunday evening, or Wednesday evening for a time of worship.  We do have a nursery available for all services.  If you are looking for a church home or you would like more information we encourage you to come by at 502 S. Margrave St. (Fort Scott, KS) or call the church at (620)223-3140.

In Christ,

Pastor Paul Rooks
